Hailie Jade Scott is embarking on a beautiful new chapter.
The 28-year-old daughter of Eminem—who announced that she's expecting her first child with husband Evan McClintock Oct. 3—shared on her podcast Just A Little Shady that she's pregnant with a baby boy.
The couple popped a balloon to reveal blue confetti before announcing, "It's a boy!"
"We're so excited, too. When we found out, Evan was like, 'They're going to hunt with me. They're going to go golfing with me. I've got a little buddy,'" Hailie shared. "I was like, 'OK, well they're still going to Target with me.'"
Evan noted, "Whether it was a girl or boy, I would have made them do it. Or hoped they would want to do it at least."
The podcast host—whose mother is Eminem's ex Kim Scott—announced that she's pregnant in the music video for her father's latest single, "Temporary," which he sweetly dedicated to her.
“A lot of people ask me, am I afraid of death? / The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I'm no longer here,” Eminem raps on the intro to the song at the beginning of the video. “So, this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes.”
The emotional tribute featured home video footage of Hailie throughout her life, including a dance that the father-daughter duo shared at her wedding earlier this year and a newer clip where the Just a Little Shady podcast host surprises her dad with a "#1 Grandpa" jersey along with an ultrasound photo.
The "Lose Yourself" rapper—who also shares kids Alaina, 31, and Stevie, 22, with Kim—was in utter shock over the surprise, as Hailie laughed and smiled over her big reveal.
"Thank you for doing everything you do & always being there for us girls,” she wrote to her father in a note seen in the music video. “You truly are the best dad in the world. Love you forever + 100 million dollars forever ever & always."
Back in May, Hailie announced on Instagram that she and Evan had tied the knot in an intimate wedding surrounded by family and friends. During the ceremony, her Grammy-winning dad walked her down the aisle.
"We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration," Hailie said at the time. "So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt."
She added, "Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife."
