Natalie Portman and husband Benjamin Millepied have finalized their divorce.
A rep for Portman confirmed to USA TODAY that the former couple finalized their divorce in France, where the couple has lived, last month.
Portman, 42, quietly filed for divorce from the 46-year-old French dancer in July, according to People.
The pair married in August 2012 after meeting on the set of 2010's "Black Swan," with Portman in the lead role while Millepied served as choreographer for the psychological horror film. They share two kids, Aleph, 12, and Amalia, 7.
Portman told Hoda Kotb in an interview on SiriusXM in 2018 that working with Millepied on set of the film was "beautiful."
"He was teaching me to dance (and) it was definitely exciting and fun," she said. "It was beautiful."
Speculation about the couple's marriage and rumors about Millepied's infidelity surfaced in the lead-up to Portman's film "May December," which the actress tersely addressed in an interview with Vanity Fair last month.
"It's terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it," she said.
The couple has been private about their marriage and children. In one rare statement, Portman called out the New York Post for a story published on Page Six alleging the actress was pregnant in 2021.
"Hey, so I'm totally not pregnant..." Portman wrote on Instagram Stories along with a screenshot of the Page Six article. "...but apparently it's still OK in 2021 for anyone to speculate and comment on a woman's body shape whenever they want? Do better @nypost."
